Privacy Policy

How KOYMOBI processes personal data across this corporate website and the digital properties we operate.

Last updated: 4 May 2026

This policy describes how KOYMOBI (“KOYMOBI”, “we”, “our”) processes personal data across this corporate website and the digital properties we operate.

1. Who we are

KOYMOBI is an independent digital publisher based in Hong Kong. KOYMOBI is the data controller for personal data collected via this corporate website (koymobi.com). For personal data collected on individual properties operated by KOYMOBI, the controller is identified in the privacy notice of the relevant property.

2. What data we collect

  • Information you provide — for example when contacting us through forms or email: name, work email, company and message content.
  • Technical information automatically collected when you visit the site: IP address, user-agent, referrer, pages viewed, timestamps and session identifiers.
  • Cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
  • Advertising-related data — on properties that show advertising, our advertising partners may process pseudonymous identifiers, device data, approximate location and contextual signals to deliver, frequency-cap, measure and report on advertising. The lawful basis is consent, recorded through our IAB TCF v2.2 compliant CMP, or an equivalent legitimate-interest framework where permissible.

3. Why we process your data

  • To respond to enquiries you send us.
  • To operate, secure and improve our websites and applications.
  • To deliver, measure and report on advertising on properties we operate, subject to your consent and choices.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our terms.

4. Lawful bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)

We rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising.
  • Legitimate interests — for site security, fraud prevention, analytics aggregated to non-identifying levels, and limited contextual advertising where permitted.
  • Performance of a contract — for partner agreements and onboarding.
  • Legal obligation — for tax, accounting and regulatory record-keeping.

5. Sharing

We share personal data with service providers acting under our instructions (hosting, analytics, email and customer-relationship tooling), with advertising partners listed under applicable consent strings, and with authorities where required by law. A current list of advertising vendors is available through our consent management platform on each property.

6. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other adequate safeguards.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy. Enquiry messages are retained for up to 24 months. Server access logs are retained for up to 13 months. Advertising-related identifiers are governed by the retention schedule of the respective vendors and your consent choices.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, please use our Contact page or email privacy@koymobi.com.

9. Supervisory authority

If you are based in the UK, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). If you are based in the EEA, you may contact your local data protection authority.

10. Changes

We will update this policy when our practices change. The version date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
